Social Casino Game Development Bootcamp
This 16-week intensive program starts September 2025 and runs through January 2026. You'll spend roughly 25 hours per week building three complete games from scratch. No previous game development experience required, but you should be comfortable with basic HTML and CSS.
Core Curriculum Modules
JavaScript Game Programming
ES6+ syntax, object-oriented patterns, event handling, and asynchronous programming. We start with simple card games and progress to complex multi-player interactions.
HTML5 Canvas & Graphics
2D rendering, sprite animation, particle systems, and responsive game layouts. You'll create smooth animations and engaging visual effects.
Database Integration
Player profiles, game statistics, leaderboards using MongoDB and Node.js. Learn to handle user data securely and efficiently.
Game Mechanics Design
Balance probability, reward systems, progression mechanics. Understanding what makes games engaging and how to implement those concepts in code.
Zahra Ndukwe
Lead JavaScript Instructor
Former technical lead at a Lagos-based gaming startup. Zahra has built over 20 web-based games and specializes in performance optimization for browser games. She's been teaching JavaScript for six years.
Priya Okafor
Graphics & Animation Specialist
Computer graphics expert with 8 years in web animation. Priya worked on several award-winning browser games and knows exactly how to make HTML5 Canvas sing. Her students consistently create the most visually impressive projects.
Elena Chukwuma
Backend Systems Instructor
Database architect who's designed player data systems for games with millions of users. Elena makes complex backend concepts accessible and teaches practical security patterns that actually work in production.
Student Project Portfolio
Technical Complexity
Students build three major projects: a slot machine with custom animations, a poker game with AI opponents, and a multiplayer bingo platform. Each project introduces new technical challenges and builds on previous knowledge.
Real-World Skills
By graduation, you'll understand performance profiling, memory management, user authentication, payment processing simulation, and how to deploy games to cloud platforms. These aren't toy projects — they're portfolio pieces.
Code Review Process
Every week includes peer code reviews and instructor feedback sessions. We emphasize clean, maintainable code patterns and teach debugging techniques that professionals actually use.
Assessment Method
No traditional exams. Instead, you'll present your projects to panels that include working game developers. We evaluate based on code quality, creativity, and your ability to explain technical decisions.
