Building tomorrow's game developers through practical education and hands-on learning experiences
Our Story
Back in 2019, our founder Kehinde Okafor was working as a senior developer at a tech company in Lagos when he noticed something troubling. Fresh computer science graduates were entering the workforce with solid theoretical knowledge but couldn't build anything practical. They understood algorithms and data structures but struggled to create engaging user experiences.
What started as weekend workshops for junior developers has grown into a comprehensive educational program. We realized that social casino games offer the perfect learning environment — they require solid programming fundamentals, creative problem-solving, and user experience design skills.
By September 2025, we'll have graduated over 200 students who went on to work at game studios, fintech companies, and e-commerce platforms across West Africa.
The gaming industry in Nigeria was just starting to take off, and we saw an opportunity to train developers who could compete globally. Social casino games became our focus because they combine technical complexity with creative design — plus they're legal and growing rapidly across Africa.
What makes us different? We don't just teach code. Our curriculum covers everything from JavaScript fundamentals to advanced game mechanics, from user interface design to data analytics. Students work on real projects that could actually be published — not toy examples.
Meet Our Team
Our instructors aren't just teachers — they're active developers who've shipped games, built fintech apps, and worked for companies across three continents. They bring real-world experience directly into the classroom.
Bruno Castellanos
Lead Game Development Instructor
Bruno spent five years at Ubisoft Montreal before moving to Lagos in 2021. He's obsessed with teaching clean code practices and has this uncanny ability to explain complex algorithms using card game analogies. His students consistently score highest on technical assessments, though they complain about his strict code review process.
Our Teaching Philosophy
We believe in learning by doing. Every concept gets immediately applied to a real project. Students don't just learn about event handling — they build slot machine animations. They don't memorize CSS properties — they design actual game interfaces.
Our curriculum evolves constantly. When React hooks became mainstream, we updated our courses within months. When Web3 gaming started gaining traction in 2024, we added blockchain integration modules.
What Drives Us
Practical Skills First
We teach what employers actually need. Our curriculum comes from analyzing hundreds of job postings and talking directly with hiring managers at game studios and tech companies.
No False Promises
We won't promise you'll land a six-figure job in three months. Good programming takes time to master. We focus on building solid fundamentals that will serve you throughout your career.
Community Learning
Our alumni network is our secret weapon. Former students regularly return to mentor new cohorts, share job opportunities, and collaborate on side projects. Learning doesn't stop at graduation.
Our Impact So Far
These numbers tell part of our story, but what matters more are the individual successes. Like Amara, who went from knowing zero programming to leading frontend development at a fintech startup in Ghana. Or David, whose slot machine game now has over 50,000 monthly active users.
